iATS Innovator winner SEVA Canada

iATS Innovator Award - We've Chosen a Winner!

We were overwhelmed by your responses, so we had to recognize more than just one.

This year at iATS our team resolved to do more to support the growth and sustainability of the nonprofit community. Our first step was announcing the #iATSInnovator Award, a grant focused on recognizing the outstanding achievements and breakthrough fundraising innovations of iATS clients. With nearly 250 applications, we were overwhelmed by the inspiring, innovative ideas that were shared! In fact, we loved hearing your stories so much, that we couldn’t pick just one. That’s why we’re not only excited to announce the winner of the #iATSInnovator Award, but the five additional organizations whose achievements inspired us to expand the award categories.

#iATSInnovator Award, Winner: Seva Canada

For its innovation and excellence in the areas of fundraising, donor management and use of technology, Seva Canada, a Vancouver, British Columbia-based charitable organization has been crowned the overall 2018 iATS Innovator. SEVA is dedicated to restoring sight and preventing blindness in developing countries and has been granted the grand prize, valued at $10,000 USD.

The winning package includes:

  • A $5000 (USD) donation to Seva Canada.
  • Social Media opportunities
  • $5000 (USD) in support services

Seva won us over with their forward-looking approach to fundraising, including a recently launched gender equity campaign that aims to reduce inequality in vision care. The organization also uses storytelling as a means of engaging donors and leverages online donations to streamline the donor experience. Seva demonstrated an excellent use of data to inform fundraising decisions, and we’re confident they will serve as a powerful example of fundraising best practices for nonprofits around the world. We can’t wait to share more of their stories here!
