Some people believe social media is a roll of the dice. It can be challenging to monitor your brand online. But social media's benefits far outweigh any potential drawbacks. One of the largest myths surrounding online networks is that they are making us less civil. However, social media is a great platform for interaction and networking with donors. Millennial donors in particular are engaging with online networks. A recent industry study revealed 60 percent of Generation Y donors give an average of nearly $500 to nonprofits annually.
