2017 In Review

With 2017 coming to a close, we reflect on all that iATS and the non-profit organizations we serve have achieved. This year we experienced continued growth in the number of non-profits we support, and for the first time we surpassed 10,000 clients. I’m thrilled to welcome so many newcomers to the iATS family!

In 2016 we set a goal to be more involved in the non-profit community, and this year we launched a program that gives employees special leave for volunteering. In 2017 our team individually contributed to events such as Hockey Helps the Homeless, beach clean-ups and various other fundraisers. This is a solid start we plan to build on in 2018.

We’ve also worked as an organization to support excellent causes, working with our long-time client, Holt International, to support their Child Sponsorship program. This year, iATS sponsored ten children from around the world. During the summer we participated in the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s Big Bike where we raised over $6000.00 for the organization, and our enthusiastic team even won The Big Bike Spirit Award! Earlier in December we also had the opportunity to visit Covenant House here in Vancouver to assist with their Backpack Program which provides homeless youth with a backpack full of essential items like socks, toothbrushes, and shampoo.

Looking further outwards, our clients had an extremely successful Giving Tuesday, collectively processing nearly 70,000 transactions and raising over $9 Million. Going into 2018, the future is bright for the non-profit community with volunteers and donors continuing to give their time and money.

Looking forward to 2018, I feel encouraged by the innovation and growth shown by the nonprofit community.  As we’ve observed in the wake of tragedies like Hurricane Harvey, when adversity strikes, this is a community that responds quickly, and with heart. It is our immense privilege to support your work, and as we plan to launch new technologies in the New Year, we do so delighted that it will further the reach of your mission.

On behalf of the entire team here at iATS Payments, I would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday.

Andrew Mosawi
